UPDATED: Click here for an up to date list of participating employers. Similar to previous jobs fairs, this free event will be open to all Southwest Washington residents and will include employers from a variety of industries. Jaime’s previous jobs fairs have drawn over 85 hiring employers. “Getting people back to work has been the focal point of my efforts since I was first elected to Congress, and it’s my honor to once again host this event that brings employers and job seekers together,” said Jaime. “When we first started the Southwest Washington Jobs Fair in 2011, many people were really hurting and needing jobs. Since that time we’ve seen the economy improve, but the reality is that there are still too many unemployed and under-employed people in our region. I’m pleased to offer this resource – which includes a resume and interviewing workshop prior to the jobs fair – to help folks put their best foot forward and find work.” Southwest Washington Jobs Fair Date and Time: Monday, May 2 • 9:00am - Noon Location: Armed Forces Reserve Center 15005 NE 65th Street, Vancouver WA 98682 Employers who are interested in participating should contact Pam Peiper in Jaime’s Vancouver office at (360) 695-6292. Jaime’s office will also be hosting a Southwest Washington Jobs Hunting Workshop. The workshop will offer a panel of experts with job seeking and resume-writing advice. Southwest Washington Job Hunting Workshop Date and Time: Thursday, April 28 • 9:30am - 11:30am Location: Vancouver Community Library 901 C Street, Vancouver, WA 98660
